Crystal Earth was founded by Indra David Fletcher, a hair professional, business owner and long-term practitioner of energy-based disciplines.

Indra has worked at the highest level of the hair industry for over two decades and has been part of the Strictly Come Dancing hair team for more than ten years, where precision, performance, and consistency are essential. His career also spans television, film, fashion, and editorial work, including time as a lead stylist at Harrods, working within one of the world’s most prestigious luxury retail environments.

This breadth of experience shaped a clear understanding: haircare must deliver visible results while standing up to real-world demands.

Yet Crystal Earth did not come from industry alone.

Alongside his professional work, Indra has been a long-time practitioner of yoga, guided by an ongoing search for depth, clarity, and truth. This inner enquiry eventually led him to the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda and the Ananda tradition, where yoga and meditation are approached as practical sciences of energy and awareness.

These teachings shaped an understanding that energy is not abstract, but experiential. How we care for the body directly influences how we feel, focus, and move through the world.

Crystal Earth grew naturally from this integration of outer craft and inner practice.
